Hey there! Do you ever find yourself walking on the beach and getting lost in the beauty of nature? How about the feeling of the warm sun on your face or listening to the waves crash? Do you love looking for stones or shells on the beach? Well, I sure do! In fact, my family and I are huge rock-hunting enthusiasts, and we love nothing more than scouring the Michigan shorelines for our favorite native stones, like Petoskeys, Leland Blues, and Beach Glass. It's a great way to find peace and happiness amidst the craziness of life.
Hi, I'm Shawna, and I'm the proud owner of Stoney Creek Jewelry, LLC. When I'm not working on my Jewelry business you'll find me watching my youngest daughter pitch on her travel softball team, and catching her pitches off the field....and yes, catching gear is required! :0)
As a jewelry maker, I believe that the pieces we wear should do more than just look pretty. They should hold a special meaning and a memory that we can carry with us wherever we go. That's why I love creating one-of-a-kind jewelry that not only makes you feel beautiful but also reminds you of a cherished moment in your life.
For me, one of those special moments was when my daughter had her first no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and a shutout as a pitcher during her travel softball game. It was a proud moment for both of us and one that I wanted to remember forever. So, that sterling silver blue flash labradorite pendant I have worn to every game since then. It has now become a good luck charm for my daughter and me and a reminder of how amazing that memory was!
I believe that everyone should have a special piece of jewelry like this in their collection. Whether it's a gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself, let my creations help you hold onto those treasured moments that can sometimes fade away. My process involves finding Michigan stones, sanding and polishing them by hand, and then wire-weaving them into beautiful pieces of jewelry. And, when it comes to inspiration, the beauty of Michigan and the people in my life never fail to inspire me.
We use Michigan stones that we find on family adventures that are hand-picked, sanded, and polished by hand. Other healing stones and crystals are purchased with intuition for their healing properties, unique characteristics, color, and rarity.
I am always on the lookout for quality materials that will create stunning, long-lasting jewelry for my customers. That's why I hand-pick Michigan stones, and other healing stones and crystals and incorporate upcycled beach glass, Leland Blues, and vintage jewelry, into my creations. Plus, I use recycled sterling silver when available, and do my best to support other small businesses
right here in the USA.
My wire-weaved pendants call to the wearer through their unique characteristics, artistic presentation, and healing properties.
Pendants are available in .925 Sterling Silver, copper, antiqued, and even on occasion gold.

Jewelry Care
It is recommended that you:
- Store your piece in a sealable air-tight plastic bag with the anti-tarnish strip that is provided with your purchase free of charge. This helps to slow down any naturally occurring tarnish.
- Choose a cool dry area to store your piece.
- Humidity, water exposure, or chemical reactions such as perfume or lotions that you use can speed up tarnishing and/or have an adverse reaction to any adhesives used.
- Use a polishing cloth to shine it back to new if you see visible tarnish. A small polishing cloth will be provided to you free of charge as a customer appreciation gift with any purchase.
